Emma Plasschaert: Hello! My name is Emma, and I was born with one foot in the sea! I started racing the optimist when I was 10 and am currently competing for a spot at the 2024 Olympics in the Laser Radial class. I love how the SSL project puts both big boat sailors and dinghy racers in 1 team, learning of each other. When I am not out sailing; you can find me on the beach or in the ocean!
